i'm more settled today so i wanted to share some highlights from my trip! for context, i traveled to tokyo and seoul. i'll start with my BTS trip highlights!! 💜
(1) found a photoism store in tokyo and i took photos with both the sweet dreams and jin's theme! it was silly and fun
(2) went to bora cafe in tokyo, a cafe dedicated to BTS! they were decked out for yoongi's bday
(3-4) stumbled across magic shop, a store with BTS goods and a whole outdoor area with various cutouts and posters of BTS!
bora cafe in shin okubo was especially fun to visit. it was purple everywhere with big screens playing BTS concerts, walls covered with photos of the boys, and whole areas dedicated to yoongi for his birthday. even the drinks were themed!
there was a promotion where you could get a sticker if you spent 1000 yen, and we were just short of it with our order, and the employee still kindly gave us a sticker of our choice! it was fun to see other ARMY at the cafe too. i thoroughly enjoyed my time!!
other BTS trip highlights:
(1-2) visiting cafe far ben, namjoon's sister's cafe in seoul!! such a nice space with delicious coffee and food (shoutout to the whipped cream in particular). it was packed!
(3) trying igin, jin's liquour brand!!! we got both flavors. they were sweet and easy to drink. i liked the plum flavor a bit more than the watermelon, but both were good!
(4) finally, getting all the BT21 goods!!! especially the japan exclusive items... i may have gone a bit overboard
some tokyo trip highlights:
(1) visited glitch coffee, a famous coffee shop! i waited 45 minutes to get in and it was totally worth it. some of the most interesting coffee i've ever had!
(2) enjoyed a delicious cherry blossom themed high tea in omotesando!
(3) discovered pandoborou, a rat character called the "bread thief". he is silly. i love him
(4) went to age.3 to try their fried sandwiches! i got two sweet flavors - creme brulee and whipped cream - and i will dream about them
@Satsuma hehe thank you!! the instructor was very skilled and helped a lot with the process too - i was grateful for her expertise!
