food
My luck ran out on the completionist run. I present: the taco bell cheezit tostada :/ who looked at a cheezit and said you know what will make this better? Soggy lettuce!
(Kurt took a particularly belligerent mouse out and grabbed a lemonade and a little dinner because we failed to feed ourselves again)
Ok.uh.wish me luck
re: food
Welp.
It's food, and it's cheap, and the tomatoes were excellent today. The things just have nothing to do with each other. And you can't pick it up to eat which is annoying since the cheezit is too thick but somehow not thick enough to be useful!
My disha hot sauce packet, though, was excellent! It's reminding me of something but ...I dunno, I'm trying to make dinner out of a cheezit, leave a message
Edit: this is about $2 for about 200 calories. Or maybe $2.50 for 250 or something. Basically it would actually be better if this were higher calorie for the price, it's not quite there as a "get the weird tostada and some black beans and that's your meal" item
Edit edit: and if that didn't make it obvious, these are far lighter than actual cheezits, it's not hard greasy cracker, it's a lighter crisp variant
re: food
@pamela off topic, but do i remember that you were ordering from an online asian grocery store for a bit? would you mind passing on the link?
re: food
@Satsuma this is my favorite: https://www.freshgogo.com/
I have also had good luck with sayweee.com and hmart.com, but we like the produce selection here best
re: food
@pamela thank you!!! there’s no asian grocery store around where we’ve moved to so we’ve been missing a bunch of faves
re: food
@pamela we indeed got some pumpkin cakes and a bottle of sparkling hawthorn juice to split, in addition to our produce & rice :)
a bit annoyingly, the box came exactly when it was originally scheduled for, despite them moving the pickup time wayyy earlier via text so i got up early for nothing
