From fedi I have learned that there's a thing called "Allen's hummingbird," and that used to be fine but lately, every single time I see this, I think it says "Alien's hummingbird" at first. And I have just enough time then to think "how cool, that aliens are sharing their birds with us" before I remember that it's probably just Allen's hummingbird again. Whoever he is. 😆

@bright_helpings (un?)fortunately it meets the criteria for the American Ornithological Society’s bird renaming project so you wont have Allen/Alien confusion for much longer!
