Physical health negative

When I woke up from a nap yesterday, my neck was incredibly stiff. It was even worse when I woke this morning. It feels like a muscle between my shoulder and head is super, super tight and screams instead of flexing normally. Most of the time it's fine, but then I'll do something completely normal and my neck will be in absolute agony.

It's not too bad right now, and I'm tired post-work and would like a nap, except that I'm terrified sleep will make it worse again. 😓

I told Lut yesterday that I'd pick up take out for us today. And I was feeling okay-ish so I figured I'd go ahead and do that.

...

nope, neck has not gotten better AT ALL.

Getting into car: sudden horrible pain
Going over random bump in road: sudden horrible pain
Getting out of car: sudden horrible pain
Sometimes taking a step up or down: sudden horrible pain

It's not really a consistent "if you do X, it will hurt." Just some movements will cause abrupt agony.

Trying to keep moving my neck around while I'm sitting so that it doesn't lock up permanently into the One Position That Doesn't hurt.

Thai food's good tho.

Neck luring me into false sense of security again o_o;;;;

I took two naproxen when I got home from picking up takeout two hours ago. Naproxen had not seemed to help last night or this morning, so I don't know if this dose was more effective or if my neck is actually improving. But I got up to move around a bit and do a few chores. Neck is mostly behaving: still twinging at random moments while I'm moving, but not spasming and locking up in agony.
