what's the best webmail for someone wanting to get away from gmail? and why do you recommend it?
I'm willing to pay a little but I can't afford a lot

@twistylittlepassages @mensrea yeah proton mail is what I use—the free plan was more than good enough for me to get a feel for whether I liked their systems and I’ve since upgraded so I can have more than one email address from them without juggling accounts (this was a huge plus for me since I had several gmail accts I was trying to ditch but ymmv obviously)
