in honour of me coming to one year on mastodon (and blorbo.social), i am going to go through my follower list and remove people i don't know and who haven't ever spoken to me, so i feel less creeped out every time i mark my posts 'followers only" 🥰
@yesterdaychild i did this once! (when i was switching my account from anyone can follow to approval only) v much improved my experience
@Satsuma yes! i approve followers too. so much less creeped out

@yesterdaychild its funny bc i probably approve 9/10 but just taking the time to look at everyones accounts so i recognize them later makes the whole thing seem a lot more friendly haha
