Ahhh come on let me see you IRL I promise I'll treat ya right sexually if you let me. That's not consent kids. Again it feels like a woman being pressured to do something she may not be fully comfortable with. Push enough and eventually she will say yes and submit to you sexually.

@GQB @jodmentum I made a flippant comment about misogyny on the birdapp and got some horrible responses, which .. whatever. I'm not invested over there. But the scariest take from more than one was 'This is not misogyny. Misogyny is when a guy forces you or doesn't please you'. FFS! What are we teaching our girls!?

@pixelcats @GQB @jodmentum i find the discourse fascinating, i hope my R skills/focus suffice to break it down cause i think a significant part of the fandom is at odds between ‘winning’ and accepting disrespect.

@mona @GQB @jodmentum I think that's a good point. So much of the discourse is 'support at all costs' and 'we must make sure they win because they suffered so much in the early days'.

I want them to win always too. But I guess it depends on your definition of winning - great music or chart success!?
