@runpunkrun my memory from 2020 is that technically the new board members aren’t officially inducted (and therefore can’t do things) until the beginning of next meeting, at which point it will be too late?
@runpunkrun huh, and looking back at the “history” does put “board turnover begins” for Oct 1 in 2020 also
@runpunkrun looking at the minutes for that year 1) there was no Q4 meeting, they go straight from August 2020 to March 21 2) the thing I’m remembering seems to have happened at the august meeting, before they actually started their official terms:
@runpunkrun this does imply (assuming new members were allowed to vote in Pres/Secretary/Treasurer) that new members were expected to vote as board members well before their terms had started???? That seems…irregular
@Satsuma ::bitter laughter:: yeah it does seem to be implying that
@Satsuma I like that "begins" there.
@Satsuma The elections timeline has the Board turnover on October 1st. I assumed that meant they'd be officially seated at that point? Here's a Wayback link to the 2023 timeline since of course it's no longer available on their site. https://web.archive.org/web/20230727174831/https://elections.transformativeworks.org/timeline/
