I got my flu and COVID vaccines today. Despite CVS repeatedly trying to sabotage me.
They cancelled my first appointment at the 11th hour.
And today they forgot to give me my COVID booster.
Provider: "ok you're good to go"
Me: Really? I didn't even feel the second shot....
P: "Second shot?"
@q_aurelius stories like this, and weird roadblocks with insurance make me wonder if just very few people are actually getting the new boosters.

@edebill @q_aurelius yeah the federal gov’t will cover when insurance doesnt for whatever reason ( https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/programs/bridge/index.html ) but it hasn’t been well publicized so I don’t know how many people have actually successfully used? we had to tell our local pharmacist about the program
