@soph_sol @Satsuma I guess bike racks aren't free, but surely they aren't much to install when you are putting up a parking lot!

@soph_sol @Satsuma in fairness, it would be hard to bike home with a wreath's worth of fabric flowers.

@Betty @Satsuma I have biked home with all sorts of implausible things. it's amazing what you can take by bike if you commit to the bit!

I will admit though that biking home from dental surgery that once was a bit extreme for me. I get why the dental specialist didn't have a bike rack at their office.

@Betty @soph_sol i mean, they usually tell you not to drive home on your own from surgeries *either*

@Satsuma @Betty eh, I got my dental surgeries done with just local anaesthetic, so my thinking and alertness weren't impacted! and I was very responsible and did not bike home from eye surgery :P

@Betty @soph_sol yeah i dont think it was a huge risk (biking or driving after local) but if they’re going to put in a parking lot for cars when people technically shouldnt drive, they can put one in for bikes too!

@Satsuma @Betty well at least with cars you can get driven by someone else, whereas by bicycle you can't give up the wheel to someone else, so I do get it! the person who drove you still needs somewhere to put their car

@soph_sol @Satsuma the important thing is to have a big bloody wad in your mouth so you can smile ghoulishly in at drivers who displease you.
