A technician is coming to make sure my A/C is healthy this morning and I'm just like "ugh why do I have to have a stranger in my house".

So the A/C tech shocked himself while inspecting the A/C

D:

Tech said this was his error and not a problem with the A/C, and also that he thinks he's fine but his arm hurts a lot so he's having his boss come to collect his tools and take him to urgent care.

Oof.

A/C tech called 45 minutes ago to let us know that he was on his way to urgent care and someone would be by for the tools he left outside.

Me: "Okay, so we can head out, right? No one else will need inside the house?"

Tech: "Sure, that's fine, thanks."

Lut & I: *get ready to head out*

20 minutes ago, just before we leave: *doorbell rings*

Different A/C tech: "Hi, I'm here for a service call! You're expecting one, right?"

Me: "..."

So he said it would be quick and he'd just finish up what the other tech started.

<_<

Still waiting.

>_>

Holding patterns are the worst for me. It's so hard for me to focus on anything while I'm waiting for someone to interrupt me.

@rowyn my mom saw a youtube video called "How to defeat the ADHD 'Waiting Mode'" or something and immediately went "oh my god i have adhd, she gets it from me" lmao

@monorail

look, a bonding activity! 😂

I don't think I actually have ADHD, because most of the ADHD stuff does not resonate with me, but waiting mode definitely sucks.
