Who was it on here who was talking up Fourteenth Year of Chenghua to me some months ago? Whoever you were, you are SO VERY CORRECT, I am into the East Palace case and the food, the characters, the story, the differences from the TV adaptation, they're all delicious.

I enjoy situations where a book and its adaptation are quite different and both have things to enjoy.

And in either work, Wang Zhi is my beloved baby murder kitten, that's just how it is, them's the rules.
