Roadtrip diary w/ food mention
#NayeGoesNorth - Arctic Circle Roadtrip Day 0 has been a success! We got everything packed in the car (organized! easy to find stuff! free visibility out the back!) and left our kitties in very good hands. Had good burgers for lunch, salty licorice & raspberry ice cream for a treat, and Swiss cheese fondue at my parents, where we're staying the night. Good weather, familiar sights, fine health. Excited to go somewhere completely new tomorrow!
Also: shout-out to @sweet_exile for reminding me of the importance of the Roadtrip Playlist! I started making it before breakfast so we had plenty of music while I drove, and I've now assembled 22h 12min of music - enough to get us all the way to Lofoten without repeats! 😁
