Also... sigh, I need an actual blog, don't I. I've seen some blog posts boosted onto here, so I know it's possible to run a blog that's part of the Fediverse - can anyone give me any tips? I'm disabled and super broke, so paying to self-host unfortunately isn't an option. :(
@biasto_bias personally i use dreamwidth, but if federation specifically is a must then https://write.as is probably your best bet

There are two options on the main page to create a new journal - paid and free
