It's a really weird experience to look in the mirror and not see yourself, not because of gender dysphoria or anything but in a much more literal sense

This body is older than I am. I'm happy to be here and use it sometimes, but by necessity my self-conception didn't start with it. I don't just look in the mirror and "not see myself", I look in the mirror and I see Holly. It's very odd
