@Satsuma I've found Dreamwidth to be a great platform for longer-form writing and building community in a "both, and" mindset. It's not Fediverse but it feels more community-focused than the centralized platforms out there. I was part of the LJ exodus to Dreamwidth - had created the DW account earlier, and jumped to it when LJ turned blatantly evil.
