@ljwrites yeah he's a really interesting interview subject, because he's very unwilling to say anything that would come off as...challenging? But at the same time he very clearly spent his entire time in academia challenging racist systems & advocating for black students so there's just shadows like this line everywhere where you can infer a lot of the stuff he's not quite willing to actually openly accuse the university of
