@cassolotl@queer.party 1) butter is generally sold in half cup sticks in the US
2) the sticks have little volume markers on the side for more complicated measurements!

@cassolotl@queer.party but also it’s very straightforward to convert tablespoons to ounces for butter so people who prefer weights (like myself) generally wont care about that one (2 tbs = 1 oz)
