One day I'm going to use the left shift key to type the plus sign or underscore or parentheses, instead of mashing my right hand against my pinky on the right shift key

@sublingual One time I ran a background program to gather statistics on my key usage (in pursuit of designing my own "perfect" keymap). After letting it go all week, I was excited to check out the numbers.
To my complete shock, I had only hit the right shift key twice and the left one thousands of times. I could yank it off my keyboard physically and not even notice.

@zpojqwfejwfhiunz @sublingual I actually used the right shift a lot until I built a 60% keyboard with dedicated cursor keys. It made the "pinky right shift" combo hard to do, so I transitioned to using the left shift key exclusively.

@goran @zpojqwfejwfhiunz @sublingual i’m also an exclusive left shift key user — perfectly standard US-QWERTY layout but I am left handed so that could be part of it
