Food access poll
I'm curious, do you have access to a store or somewhere you can buy ingredients for cooking with (like bread, fruit, vegetables, rice, canned food- something you can cook a meal with) in easy walking/biking/public transit distance to where you live?
I'm thinking like around 20 minutes to get there but your scale of what's close may be different from mine
And like, accessible as in you won't have to cross a 4 lane road on foot without a crossing to get there

@RadiantEmber the closest grocery store is a little under a mile, so usually 15 minutes or so to get there. I prefer to take the bus back, since walking that far with a whole load of groceries can get a bit uncomfortable but I have walked home plenty of times when the transport schedule hasn’t worked out (the bus route has very convenient stops near both me and the store but it comes about once every 45 min)

@RadiantEmber like 90% of the walk there is on a mixed use path in the park tho, which is v nice :D
