I just watched @vicorva stream Fallen London, and now I'm thinking about playing Fallen London again.
I don't remember when I stopped playing, but I'm guessing about 6 years ago (I think I had nearly exhausted the available content around the time Sunless Sea was released.)
@Rowyn Making Waves: You can trade it for Notability. There is content that requires a given Notability to play, and there are some things (upgrading high-level lodging even MORE) that need to be paid for with points of Notability.
@Rowyn Did the game have the option of buying a ship and zailing to Polythreme and a bunch of islands already when you were playing?
There's a Laboratory you can get at the University that I don't remember from way back when, and some place where you can build and sell fanciful skeletons, too. as far as late(r)-game content goes.
@anke I remember zailing. So much zailing. Weeks and weeks at zee.
The Laboratory sounds vaguely familiar, the skeletons not at all.
@Rowyn @Anke i went back to fl recently after a long break too!
zailing has been reworked so its a bit faster, tho i think *most* of the destinations are similar to old system
The laboratory is an unlockable area within the University where you can do research on stuff. Its been around for a bit but I think they’ve added content?
Railways, Paleontology, and the Rat Market are all new
@Satsuma @Rowyn The ratworks under the Blind Helmsman pay out second city echoes, but that's the only one I remember I can grind for at the moment...
