@g1comics Stuff like gingerbread that I think of as "Christmas cookies" and that I think did not used to show up this early in the year now appear at the start of September. Defenders claim those aren't "Christmas baked goods" but "Autumn baked goods", but you really can't claim that for Santas...

@Anke @g1comics there’s a particular brand of ginger cookie that emerges every year on September 1st, which I’m fine with because they’re just ginger cookies and I prefer them to the pumpkin spice everything also on offer
But snowflakes/santas/etc should wait until at least after halloween (I’d prefer after thanksgiving tho I can admit I’ll never win that one)
