Also I think part of it is that we're all so surrounded by LLM bull shit all the time that it is, whether we want it to or not, slowly seeping into our general way of writing
I have definitely had to stop myself from starting something with a big statement and then following it with something like "Stay with me here"
Which is very scary and I don't like it!!!
