one of the more difficult conlanging problems is acquiring good lists of words with a reasonable semantic distribution so you don’t wind up with 50 words for travel but can’t talk about what you ate for breakfast, or whatever
so anyway i have some lists of words
@Lady@cat.family it's not exactly the same but along similar lines ... when I visited Greece I realized I knew words for concepts like victory and "the people", and obscure things like how an ox plows a field, but had no idea how to ask directions.
