“encode the text that people will want to search for” is in fact a pretty good rule of thumb tho; if a spelling should be findable by searching the equivalent with basic latin letters, it should be encoded using them

@Lady It's somehow amusing to me that someone who pays attention to a lot of small details also doesn't dot i's, but does cross t's; minds the jots, but not the tittles. (Or perhaps does, though without using them.)
