I would LOVE to write a story involving an insanely-detailed plot where every move is planned out 12 steps in advance and every eventuality is accounted for, I fucking love when either heroes OR villains do that shit
But I am not clever enough to do that in a believable way
Like, Sheev Palpatine manipulated galactic politics into a civil war where no matter which side won, HE won and he got away with it

@coriander idk, i think the sith would win either way but i think the clone wars was genuinely a war between Palpatine and Dooku and if Dooku had won Palpatine would have had a hard time seizing power from him
