Alright, now I have to actually consider what makes a fan wiki "Good"

-MUST NOT be a Fandom wiki, this is non-negotiable (I'm so sorry, Wookieepedia, my beloved)
-Trustworthy information
-Exhaustive, or as close to it as possible, for the wiki's given purview
-A sense of identity
-Strong visual aids/images

More may come

"Sense of identity" is incredibly hard to pin down and define, but I think it's honestly a key component

I don't love the Homestar Wiki just because it's a Homestar Wiki, I love it because of the WAY it's a Homestar Wiki

Wookieepedia is another great example of a Wiki with an identity, everyone knows what Wookieepedia is like, but it's on Fandom so it's a bad wiki

Also Dani mentioned two different Guilty Gear Wikis, one for the lore and one for actually playing the games, which is why I specifically mentioned exhaustive information "within the purview" because I'm not gonna really knock the frame-data wiki for not telling me the backstory, y'know?

Now if there was ONE wiki that had both?

Hoo fuckin boy

@coriander zelda actually has this distinction now too; if you want walkthroughs or more gameplay‐related info then you want the zelda dungeon wiki at zeldadungeon.net/wiki/Main_Pag
