@djsundog are there really any gains beyond security that would prompt a desire to use the new code?

@kemonine "edit toot" is going to be a big draw, but aside from that I feel like the antifeatures outweigh the features by a fair bit.

@djsundog @kemonine i know locally we're planning on patching at least some of the antifeatures (still working on the list…) before we make the jump, but some stuff like the removal of remote actions or defaulting to /explore instead of /about unfortunately mostly affects OTHER instances, so
