Star Wars: Dark Forces is a very interesting game in a lot of ways but I think what stands out to me most is the fact that, while video games have improved in the TELLING of their stories, they largely haven't improved in the QUALITY of their stories
The entire story of Dark Forces is told in mission briefings but if they made this game today it would be the exact same story just with more and longer cutscenes
