I just ran into a weird bug today. My default keyboard layout is Dvorak. I upgraded Chrome this week and went to use a web app (SketchUp). If I type in the browser, it’s using Dvorak key mappings, as it should. However, the shortcut keys (which I use from muscle memory and don’t actually know) are suddenly using QWERTY key mappings. Just the shortcuts. Everything else is fine.

I’m having the same problem with Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a browser or an app problem but it’s fascinating.

@kiesa possibly an intentional app problem if the keyboard shortcuts were chosen for their location on a QWERTY keyboard (cut, copy, paste being X, C, V is the typical example; that doesn't make sense in Dvorak)

@Lady Could be. Though what’s odd is it worked fine last week.
