It's still weird to me that some people define "criminal" as "someone I believe is predisposed to commit crime, even if they've been law-abiding their entire life" and not "someone who has committed a crime".

(This is probably because if they used the actual definition, they'd have to admit that some of the people they like, or they themselves, are criminals.)
