Finally actually read the "speedrunning is Communism" thread
I don't know if I expected it to make more or less sense, but I definitely expected one of those two things

it really could have been summed up in one tweet like
“i think that good labour is that which the Creator endorses, and this is Capitalism; speedrunners do other kinds of labour, and this is Communism”
