@xoe When I love someone, I can think about scenarios where they weren't, and imagine them there, and feel happy; I can think about situations where they were, and imagine them not there, and feel sad; I can think about doing things for them and feel happy purely based on the enjoyment they would get from those things, and I can think about situation where their needs and my needs would conflict and not immediately feel like i should prioritize myself

that said, for me, love is entirely separate from sexual attraction; i can love platonic friends as intensely as someone i'm fucking.
